Chaupati Beach - Mumbai,Maharashtra,India



GIRGAON CHAUPATI' (Marathi:गिरगाव चौपाटी), commonly known as Chaupati (pronounced 'chow-patty'), is one of the best known public beaches adjoining Marine Drive in the Girgaon area of Mumbai, India. The beach is noted for its Ganesh Visarjan celebrations when thousands of people from all over Mumbai and Pune come to immerse the idols of Lord Ganesh in the Arabian Sea. It is also one of the many places in the city where the 'RAMLILA' is performed on a stage every year. An effigy of Ravan erected on the sand is burnt by the end of the 10-day performance. One can find several bhelpuri, panipuri, ragda patties and pav bhaji vendors on the beach.

Athirappilly Water Falls- Kerala, India

Athirappilly is popular among tourists. Athirappilly Falls is one of the best places to visit in Kerala. Another popular waterfall to visit is the Vazhachal Falls. Athirappilly Falls is a part of Chalakudy river and it is approximately 80 feet in height. Athirappilly is easily reachable from Chalakudy by taking a vehicle for rent or by bus from the Chalakudy private bus terminal.

Cavelossim Beach - Goa, India



Cavelossim is a census town in South Goa district in the state of Goa, India.

The town hosts a well known beach at the southernmost tip of the Salcete beach stretch that starts from Majorda in the north to Cavelossim in the south. The Sal river flows into the Arabian Sea at the south of this town.

This town was the original above of goddess Shri Shantadurga located at Kawlem, which is one of the largest temples in the state. The idol was taken from Cavelossim to Kawlem in Ponda taluka (Antruz Mhal) during the Portuguese inquisition of Goa. Chattrapati Shahu donated money to rebuild the temple at Kawlem, as a part of donations to rebuild various temples to deities that were moved during the inquisition.

David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust - Nairobi, Kenya

The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is a Kenyan wildlife conservation charity founded in 1977 in memory of David Sheldrick by his widow Daphne Sheldrick. It assists and advises the Kenya Wildlife Service and manages an orphanage for elephants and rhinos. This trust is reintegrating orphaned elephants back into the Kenyan wildlife,and is a World Elephant Day associate.

The trust recently released a video on its YouTube channel, celebrating their 100,000th fan on Facebook
