Rabindranath Tagore - Indian Poet, Novelist,
Rabindranath Tagore, also written Rabīndranātha Thākura, (7 May 1861 – 7 August 1941),γ[›sobriquet Gurudev,δ[›] was a Bengali polymath who reshaped Bengali literature and music, as well as Indian art with Contextual Modernism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Author of Gitanjali and its "profoundly sensitive, fresh and beautiful verse", he became the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913. In translation his poetry was viewed as spiritual and mercurial; however, his "elegant prose and magical poetry" remain largely unknown outside Bengal.Tagore introduced new prose and verse forms and the use of colloquial language into Bengali literature, thereby freeing it from traditional models based on classical Sanskrit. He was highly influential in introducing the best of Indian culture to the West and vice versa, and he is generally regarded as the outstanding creative artist of the modern Indian subcontinent.

William Shakespeare - English Poet,
William Shakespeare was an English poet, playwright, and actor, widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world's pre-eminent dramatist. He is often called England's national poet and the "Bard of Avon".[nb His extant works, including some collaborations, consist of about 38 plays,154 sonnets, two long narrative poems, and a few other verses, of which the authorship of some is uncertain. His plays have been translated into every major living language and are performed more often than those of any other playwright.
William Shakespeare’s quotes are renowned for their insight into human nature, with famous lines including "To be, or not to be, that is the question" (Hamlet), "All the world's a stage" (As You Like It), and "This above all: to thine own self be true" (Hamlet), spanning themes of love, fate, and mortality. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Famous Shakespeare Quotes
• On Life: "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players" (As You Like It).
• On Love: "Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none" (All's Well That Ends Well).
• On Self-Truth: "This above all: to thine own self be true" (Hamlet).
• On Greatness: "Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them" (Twelfth Night).
• On Death: "Cowards die many times before their deaths; The valiant never taste of death but once" (Julius Caesar).
• On Opportunity: "There is a tide in the affairs of men, Which taken at the flood, leads on to fortune" (Julius Caesar).
• On Persistence: "Better three hours too soon than a minute too late" (The Merry Wives of Windsor). [1, 6, 7, 8]

A Pirali Brahmin from Kolkata with ancestral gentry roots in Jessore, Tagore wrote poetry as an eight-year-old. At age sixteen, he released his first substantial poems under the pseudonym Bhānusiṃha ("Sun Lion"), which were seized upon by literary authorities as long-lost classics. He graduated to his first short stories and dramas—and the aegis of his birth name—by 1877. As a humanist, universalist internationalist, and strident nationalist he denounced the Raj and advocated independence from Britain. As an exponent of the Bengal Renaissance, he advanced a vast canon that comprised paintings, sketches and doodles, hundreds of texts, and some two thousand songs; his legacy endures also in the institution he founded, Visva-Bharati University.
Tagore modernised Bengali art by spurning rigid classical forms and resisting linguistic strictures. His novels, stories, songs, dance-dramas, and essays spoke to topics political and personal. Gitanjali (Song Offerings), Gora (Fair-Faced) and Ghare-Baire (The Home and the World) are his best-known works, and his verse, short stories, and novels were acclaimed—or panned—for their lyricism, colloquialism, naturalism, and unnatural contemplation. His compositions were chosen by two nations as national anthems: India's Jana Gana Mana and Bangladesh's Amar Shonar Bangla. The original song of Sri Lanka's National Anthem was also written and tuned by Tagore
