Gregory House, from the self-titled medical drama on the Fox network, is best known for his amazing diagnostic abilities and his misanthropic attitude. While working at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital in New Jersey, House encounters many patients with medical anomalies that would leave most doctors scratching their heads. Yet, he is almost always able to find the cause and cure it. While at first, he seems simply like an ornery old man, he is actually a complex, but still very human, character.
