Eastern North Carolina Barbecue Sauce






Ingredients

¾ gallons apple cider vinegar
⅛ cup salt
¼ cup ground black pepper
¼ cup red pepper flakes
1 cup molasses
2 cups honey




Hilsha Fish - Bengali Recipe





Ingredients

Hilsha Fish - 3 Lb
Mustard seeds -  3 Tbsp
Green Chili - 9
Turmeric powder - 1.5 Tsp
Red Chili Powder -  3 Tbsp
Salt -  1.5 Tsp  or to taste
Nigella  - 0.5 Tsp

Method

1.Wash the hilsa fish thoroughly in water,remove the head  and  cut into steaks about 3/4 inch thick.

2.Remove the scales and rub a tsp of turmeric powder and 1 tea spoon of salt all over the pieces.

3. Grind  the mustard seeds, 5 green chilies and 1/2 tea spoon of salt i, adding about  1/2 cup of water.

4.Mix red chili powder and turmeric powder with 3 table-spoon of water.

5. Heat oil in a non-stick thick bottom pan and fry  kalonji and 4 green chilies for about half a minute before adding the red chili - turmeric powder mixture

6.Fry  the above stirring for about 4 to 5 minutes.

7.Add the hilsa fish pieces one by one. Turning  each piece.

8.Add the mustard paste diluted with water ( strain through a strainer so that only the juice is used ) and two green chili sliced and bring to boil adding 1/2 cup of water.

9. Reduce heat, simmer for about ten minutes till gravy thickens and continue frying carefully turning the pieced till gravy becomes little dry.

Lemon juice - from 1 lemon (medium sized)
Curd - 1 tbsp
Bay leaf - 1
Cinnamon - 2 sticks
Cardamom - 2
Cloves - 2
Star anise - 1
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Mace - 2

Marination (minimum 3 hrs - max overnight)

Mutton - 1/2 kg
Curd - 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1/3 tsp

The Coalition significantly realigned American politics after 1932, creating the Fifth Party System and defining American liberalism throughout the middle third of the 20th century.

2 teaspoons citric acid crystals (or malic / tartaric / citric blends)

Ice Cream





Ingredients

500 ml (2 1/8 cups) full-fat milk
5 oz (140g) caster sugar
a few drops of vanilla essence
150 ml (2/3 cup) double cream
6 egg yolks

Procedure

Pour milk into a pot with vanilla and bring almost to a boil.
Beat the egg yolks and sugar.
Pour some of the milk into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
Pour egg and milk mix back into the pot, still whisking. Heat gently until thickened.
Pour into a bowl and place in sink half-filled with cold water to cool.
Stir occasionally, then chill in the fridge.
Whip the cream and fold into the mix.
Pour into an ice cream tub.
Prepare as per your ice cream machine's instructions.
Alternately, freeze in tub for 3 hours. Every hour, whisk the ice cream to stop ice crystals from forming.

Chaupati Beach - Mumbai,Maharashtra,India



GIRGAON CHAUPATI' (Marathi:गिरगाव चौपाटी), commonly known as Chaupati (pronounced 'chow-patty'), is one of the best known public beaches adjoining Marine Drive in the Girgaon area of Mumbai, India. The beach is noted for its Ganesh Visarjan celebrations when thousands of people from all over Mumbai and Pune come to immerse the idols of Lord Ganesh in the Arabian Sea. It is also one of the many places in the city where the 'RAMLILA' is performed on a stage every year. An effigy of Ravan erected on the sand is burnt by the end of the 10-day performance. One can find several bhelpuri, panipuri, ragda patties and pav bhaji vendors on the beach.

Clouded leopard



The clouded leopard (Neofelis nebulosa) is a cat found from the Himalayan foothills through mainland Southeast Asia into China, and has been classified as Vulnerable in 2008 by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Its total population size is suspected to be fewer than 10,000 mature individuals, with a decreasing population trend, and no single population numbering more than 1,000 adults.




Zantedeschia Aethiopica



Zantedeschia aethiopica (known as calla lily and arum lily) is a species in the family Araceae, native to southern Africa in Lesotho, South Africa, and Swaziland.

Zantedeschia aethiopica is a rhizomatous herbaceous perennial plant, evergreen where rainfall and temperatures are adequate, deciduous where there is a dry season. Its preferred habitat is in streams and ponds or on the banks. It grows to 0.6–1 m (2.0–3.3 ft) tall, with large clumps of broad, arrow shaped dark green leaves up to 45 cm (18 in) long. The inflorescences are large and are produced in spring, summer and autumn, with a pure white spathe up to 25 cm (9.8 in) and a yellow spadix up to 90 mm (3 1⁄2 in) long.  The spadix produces a faint, sweet fragrance.

Butter Chicken Fry - South Indian



Ingredients:

1 kg chicken
75 gms butter
1/2 cup yogurt
50g almonds
1 1/2 chilli powder
1/4 tsp bay leaves
1/4 tsp cloves
1/4 ground cinnamon
1 tsp garam masala
4 green cardomom pods
1 tsp ginger piece
1 tsp garlic piece
1/2 cup tomato
salt to taste
1 tsp oil
2 onion chopped
2 tsp fresh coriander chopped
4 tsp cream

The Walls of Dubrovnik (Croatian: Dubrovačke gradske zidine) are a series of defensive stone walls that have surrounded and protected the citizens of the afterward proclaimed maritime city-state of Dubrovnik (Ragusa), situated in southern Croatia, since the city's founding prior to the 7th century as a Byzantium castrum on a rocky island named Laus (Ragusia or Lave). With numerous additions and modifications throughout their history, they have been considered to be amongst the great fortification systems of the Middle Ages, as they were never breached by a hostile army during this time period. In 1979, the old city of Dubrovnik, which includes a substantial portion of the old walls of Dubrovnik, joined the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

Pushkar Camel Fair - Rajasthan, India.





The Pushkar Fair (Pushkar Camel Fair) or locally Pushkar ka Mela is an annual five-day camel and livestock fair held in the town of Pushkar in the state of Rajasthan, India. It is one of the world's largest camel fairs. Apart from the buying and selling of livestock, it has become an important tourist attraction. Competitions such as the "matka phod", "longest moustache", and "bridal competition" are the main draws for this fair which attracts thousands of tourists. In recent years the fair has also included an exhibition cricket match between the local Pushkar club and a team of random foreign tourists. The Imperial Gazetteer of India mentions an attendance of 100,000 pilgrims in early 1900s.
